Rosinka International Residential Complex celebrated the traditional German beer festival, Oktoberfest, on the first weekend of October.
Since founding the Rosinka International Residential Complex, the complex’s management company Rosinka International Group has paid special attention to the communal life of its residents. Over 350 families from various countries across the world rent homes at Rosinka, and events are organised throughout the year to build friendships between the complex’s residents and to support the inclusive atmosphere. We organise a welcome coffee for newcomers, where they can get to know their neighbours and are able to join various clubs and organisations as well as sign up for numerous lessons on offer. Every year more than 1,000 guests and residents gather together to celebrate the complex’s birthday. We also celebrate Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and, of course, New Year.
Celebrating the German beer festival, Oktoberfest, at Rosinka’s sports and social club the first weekend of October has become a tradition. Oktoberfest is the largest outdoor festival in the world, with around six million visitors arriving in Munich every year from Bavaria and across Germany. The festival starts mid-September and lasts for 16 days until the beginning of October.
The year Rosinka International Group prepared numerous surprises for Rosinka residents in honour of the festival. Aside from the traditional Bavarian sausages and wide variety of beers, festival guests were able to relax to live German folk music and toe-tapping dancing from Bavarian Carousel, as well as take part in an Oktoberfest King and Queen competition. Children enjoyed their own special entertainment.
